We are a group of women who are interested in supporting our Troy community, and Southeast Michigan, by contributing to local non-profit charities together, as a unit, to increase the impact of our donation. We are reaching out to friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers to join our newly formed chapter of 100 Women Who Care, Troy. Being a Troy resident is NOT a requirement! Together we have the ability to contribute to the growth of our community in ways that we never before thought possible.
100 Women Who Care was created 2006 in Jackson, Michigan, as a brilliantly simple way to raise money efficiently and quickly for local non-profit 501(c)3 organizations. At their first meeting the Jackson group of 100 women each wrote a check for $100 directly to the charity, raising $10,000 to buy 100 new baby cribs for an organization in their city. Since then, they have grown to over 300 members and chapters are forming all over the country, as well as internationally.
We invite YOU to become a part of this powerful group, joining other women who wish to have a positive impact on the lives of those in need. Members nominate non-profits of their choice, presenting details regarding the charity.
Are you committed to helping others but stretched for time? Meetings will not last any longer than 1 hour.
Do you want to be part of a powerful group of local women making an immediate, direct and positive effect on the lives of our neighbors?
Would you like your donations to go directly to a local charity?
Would you like to learn more about the many worthy community service programs and organizations servicing our area?
